Fixed an issue when opening projects with Resolve FX 3D Keyer that were created in 17.0 Beta 1. Fixed a problem with thumbnail resolution for updated v16 projects. Fixed a problem with unmatched extents for interlaced subclips. Fixed an issue with jerky playback for interlaced clips with hardware decoding on Nvidia graphics cards. Fixed an issue with long startup times for systems with many audio plugins. The new features in DaVinci Resolve (Studio) 17.0 and 17.1 Beta 6. There is again both a beta version of DaVinci Resolve (Studio) 17 for Windows, Linux and Intel Macs, and a version 17.1 specifically for MacOS with Apple Silicon - the latter is the Universal App that supports the new M1 Macs, meaning this version is compatible with the new MacOS Big Sur, but only runs on Macs with Apple M1 chip. As always, Blackmagic is asking for feedback on the beta release as well as bug reporting via its forums on the Blackmagic Design website. DaVinci Resolve Studio 17.0 Public Beta 6 also makes it easier to manage HDR luminance output and offers updated scripting APIs. The update also optimizes the handling of external clip mats in compositing and thumbnail rendering for updated projects. The free update through Beta 6 speeds up boot-up of systems with large audio plug-in libraries, improves interlaced and subclip handling, and boosts timeline performance when working with multiple subtitles. Beta 6 of the latest version 17 (or 17.1 for Apple M1) of its grading, editing, compositing and (audio) mastering tool DaVinci Resolve brings several improvements to Resolve on Windows, Linux and macOS (Intel and M1). DaVinci Resolve Studio 17 Public Beta 6 īlackmagic has actually increased the interval of new Resolve 17/17.1 (Studio) beta releases to a weekly frequency now.
